Configure Client MAR and Group MAR

The Configuration Keys are used to set how various pieces of information are displayed on the Client MAR and Group MAR pages. The System Administrator can edit the Configuration Keys.

MARMinutesBeforeOverdue

30 or 60 minutes

This setting configures when a MAR is shown as overdue.

MAROverdueLookbackHours

Usually set to 24 hours.

The value set for this key is the number of hours that the alert message should be displayed on the screen if the medication is not given. This message is visible for the number of hours specified in this configuration key. After that, the alert message no longer appears.

 

The Overdue drugs can still be viewed on reports.          

MARNumberofShifts

There are 2 values which are permitted:

2 – which creates 12 hour shifts

3 – which creates 8 hour shifts

This configuration value sets the display of hours in a particular shift. The medicines allocated for the patient show up at respective time intervals.

 

For instance, if the value of this key is set to 2, it means that the nurse is working 12 hour (24/2) shifts. In this scenario, the screen will be populated with 12 columns.

 

You configure the start time in the ‘MARShiftStartTime’ key.

MARShiftStartTime

Enter the start time in the format HH:mm using a 24 hour format.

 

The default configuration is 08:00.

This configuration value sets the shift start time entered in 24 hour format.          

MARAutoScheduleDays

Enter a number for number of days

The value set for this key is the number of days to create the MAR entries for specified days.

MAR_RefreshRate

Enter the Refresh Rate in milliseconds

This key provides an option to the customer site to change the refresh interval time for Client MAR.

MarDefaultLocationCode

VALUE: The value is the ‘LocationCode’ which need to be identified from the ‘Locations’ table.

This key helps in capturing the drug administration charge in the MAR. When the Drug is ordered from the Medication or the Client Order screen, then this drug is administered by the nurse at the client's bed for residential clients and Inpatients.

 

The procedure code for this can be put into the value of the key where every time the drug is administered, the specific charge is charged to the client.   

 

A single charge is applied for the drug administration regardless of whether it is a Drug Dose, Infusions or Injections. If the value is empty, then the charge is not captured nor applied to the client.

MAR_ShowAdministeredName

'Y' or 'N'

If the Value of this key is set to 'Y', then the Staff Name who administered the medication is displayed with Administered date and time.

MARTimeFormat

There are 2 values which will enable or disable this feature:

 

12 – This value will convert the time slot to 12 Hr with AM and PM associated with timing.  

 

24 – This value will convert the time slot to show the timing in 24 hour format.

This key configuration affects the format of the time slots displayed in the Client MAR screen.

 

If a 12 Hr time format is selected, then it will show AM and PM associated with the time.

If a 24 Hr time format is selected, then it will show the slots beyond 12:59 as 13:00 and so on till 23:59.    

 

This setting effects the Client MAR List page and the popup where the prescription/dosage scheduling or editing is completed.

Enable or disable MAR Barcoding

MARShowDiscontinueMedsFromPastXDays

30 - displays all medications discontinued in the last 30 days are shown. Default.

 

Enter a number for more or fewer days to display Discontinued Medicine.

 

This key configuration defines the Discontinue Medicine being displayed in the Group Client MAR screen.       

 

This setting displays on the Group Client MAR List page .
