The SmartCare online help explains all the tasks you can complete in SmartCare. There are two ways to access the help from within SmartCare:

Throughout the online help you will see phrases that look like this: hyperlinked text.
The list of tasks at the beginning of a topic take you to the specific task in the topic. For example:
are the tasks that you can access in the Admit a Client topic. When you are done using the new topic, use your browser back arrow to return to the original help topic.
Tell me how.. hyperlinked text provides further detailed steps, if you need them. For example, step one in the Admit a Client procedure looks like this:
Make sure the Bedboard page is displayed. Tell me how...
When you click on the hyperlinked text, a new topic page appears with the steps for displaying the Bedboard page. Click the back button in your browser window to return to the original topic.
The field definitions hyperlinked text displays all the definitions for a page in SmartCare you are working on in the task. For example, step 7 in the Admit a Client topic looks like this:
Complete the required and necessary fields on the Census Management - Admit page. View field definitions.
When you click on the link, a page is displayed with a definition for each field on the page. Click he back button in your browser window to return to the original topic.
Sometimes you may see a complete sentence that is hyperlinked text, For example, at the bottom of every procedure this text appears:
Why can't I access these screens?
If you are having trouble accessing pages in SmartCare, you may not have the correct permissions to access the page. Click this link to display another topic that defines all the permissions needed to access specific pages in SmartCare. If you cannot access a page, contact you system administrator to be given proper permissions.
